Remedy Itchy Mosquito Bites Naturally

We recently found a new remedy that has been very effective in eradicating that irritating itch you get when bitten by mosquitoes. Mosquitoes feed off humans for their blood. In exchange their saliva gets left in the area of the bite. Humans have an allergy to their saliva and as a result, experience the allergic reaction of redness, swelling and (sometimes scream-worthy) itching. The problem most people have with the itching is that they scratch and scratch until the skin breaks, resulting in bleeding and leaving the area open to infection. So what is this natural solution?

Baking soda!

The remedy is simple. Take 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Add just enough water to make a mushy mixture. Use your finger to take the we baking soda and apply it to the itchy area. Rub it in for about a minute. You may experience some pain or a burning feeling for several seconds, but continue until this feeling passes and the itch subsides. That’s it! Later, if the itching starts up again, just repeat the same technique until the itching goes away completely.
