How to Break Back Pain Fast without Risky Surgery

by Dr. Susan Friedman

Have you been told to just live with your pain?

Do you feel like you have exhausted all options?

Are you tired of waiting for hours for your doctor to see you?

Is it possible to non-surgically handle back pain?

The answer is YES and here it is: It is the newest breakthrough in non-surgical back pain and sciatica treatment. This treatment just may end the pain, solving herniated, bulging or degenerated disc problems.  It’s called the DRS Protocol™.

What is the DRS Protocol™?

DRS™ stands for Decompression, Reduction and Stabilization. The DRS Protocol™ is a comprehensive combination of treatments, which include axial/spinal decompression, and multiple therapies. It utilizes “Patient Centered Healthcare” and “best practice” approach. The DRS Protocol™ has been proven most effective for involved and chronic disc conditions: degenerative disc disease, herniated disc(s), numbness and tingling of the legs/feet, as well as sciatica, posterior facet syndrome, spinal stenosis and failed back surgeries. It is customized treatment for each patient, because every patient’s health and condition is individual.

How Does DRS™ Work?

The DRS™ treatment applies an “axial” or distractive force to the injured disc levels. During treatment, intradiscal pressure is dropped from a positive to a negative. This negative pressure promotes the diffusion, or intake, of water, oxygen, and nutrients into the vertebral disc area, thereby rehydrating the degenerated disc.

Repeated pressure differential promotes retraction of a herniated nucleus pulposus (the elastic core of the intervertebral disc). In other words, the DRS™ treatment reduces pressure inside of the disc. This reduces the painful herniation and the pain from other disc-related degenerative conditions. The pressure reduction results in increased blood flow to the injured area, reduction of pain, increased mobility, and tissue repair.

In research studies, the conclusions were that for patients with appropriate back pain conditions, DRS™ is a “front-line, premier treatment.”

Patient-Centered Healthcare

The DRS Protocol™ specializes in the treatment of patients suffering from chronic and severe disc conditions: herniated disc(s) or degenerative disc disease, low back pain, sciatic pain, facet syndrome, spinal stenosis, and failed back surgery syndrome. It includes the philosophy of “Patient Centered Healthcare,” utilizing a “whole patient approach”. This approach helps determine and customize the best treatment options. It is the “gold-standard” of care where the main focus is YOU!
